Stash Terms of Service

Welcome to Stash (hereinafter "the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

1. Service Overview

Stash is a link collection application that allows you to save, organize, and manage web links with folders, tags, and metadata on your device. Certain features may require an internet connection or a subscription.

2. User Accounts

• You may optionally connect a Google account to enable features such as cloud sync and subscription management.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when connecting your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Some features (Vault, ad removal, Dropbox backup, completion tracking) are available only through paid subscriptions.
• Subscriptions are billed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play settings.
• Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policy.

4. User Content

• You retain ownership of all content you save within the App.
• Links and data are primarily stored on your device.
• If you enable cloud sync or Dropbox backup, your data will be transmitted and stored on secure servers or your personal Dropbox account.
• You are solely responsible for backing up your data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App's systems or networks.
• Distribute, sell, or sublicense the App without authorization.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and content (excluding user-saved content), is the intellectual property of the Stash development team. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Stash development team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App, including data loss.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be announced within the App.
